What is a Mineral sizer?
China mineral sizer (grading crusher) is a new type of crusher independently developed by our company, building upon our existing product technology. Unlike traditional toothed roller crusher that crush materials through impact and squeezing, the new sizer utilizes a combination of shearing and tensile forces.
The double-roll sizer is equipped with two horizontally installed, parallel toothed rolls within the crushing chamber. The surfaces of the rolls are fitted with crushing teeth. Driven by a transmission system (either single or dual-motor), the rolls rotate towards each other. Ultimately, the crushing teeth apply shearing and tensile forces to break the material.

Working Principle of the Mineral Sizer:
Mineral sizer crusher is equipped with two horizontally installed, parallel toothed rolls inside the crushing chamber. The surfaces of the rolls are fitted with crushing teeth. Driven by a transmission system (either single or dual-motor), the rolls rotate towards each other, applying shearing and tensile forces to break the material.
When a larger reduction ratio is required, an adjustable crushing bar (anvil) can be installed beneath the two rolls. As the toothed rolls grip the material, the first stage of crushing occurs. As the material passes between the dual rolls, it undergoes a second stage of crushing. Finally, the crushing bar works in conjunction with the roll teeth to perform a third stage of crushing on the fragments produced in the previous two stages.

Application of the Mineral Sizer:
Through years of development, our company's Mineral sizers have evolved into a comprehensive range of series and specifications. They are capable of crushing a wide variety of materials, including coal, sandstone, shale, frozen soil, and coke. These crushers are widely used across multiple industries, such as mineral processing, construction, metallurgy, coking, agriculture, and animal feed production.
Features of the Mineral Sizer:
Mineral sizer crusher produced by our company are characterized by high crushing strength, large processing capacity, and minimal generation of oversized or over-crushed particles. They are highly effective at handling wet and sticky materials. Additionally, equipped with an automatic control system, they can be easily integrated into the plant's centralized control system.
The PLF/FP series high-capacity sizers are primarily designed for the coarse and intermediate crushing of brittle, lump materials in industries such as coal mining, power generation, mining, metallurgy, and chemical processing.
Technical Specifications:
Partial Tooth-Cap Type: Feed size ≤1000mm (occasionally up to 1200-1500mm); discharge sizes include 150mm, 200mm, 350mm, etc.
Tooth-Plate Type: Feed size ≤300mm (occasionally up to 500mm); discharge sizes include 30mm, 50mm, 100mm, 150mm, etc. Capable of crushing coal and medium-hardness rock.
Raw coal can be crushed directly without the need for pre-screening or manual sorting. This significantly simplifies the coal processing flow, reduces the required plant height, and lowers both the capital investment and operational costs for coal preparation plants and power stations.
